  • Weekdays: 09:00~21:00
  • Sat, Sun, and holidays: 09:00~19:00
  • The museum is closed on Mondays, January 1, and days decided by director of the museum (entrusted by Mayor of Seoul)

Smartphone App Guide

A self-guided audio tours of the collection is available on your smartphone.

Download "U-Exhibition Guides App" on your smartphone and pick up an RFID tag at the information desk. Enter the tag number into the app. Hold your RFID tag close to an RFID reader installed at each exhibition hall and you can watch videos about the relics or the exhibition.

Direction

  1. Download and install "U-Exhibition Guides App" on your smartphone.
  2. Rent an RFID tag at the museum information desk (free of charge).
  3. Run "U-Exhibition Guides App"
  4. Register your RFID tag ID on the app.
  5. Hold your RFID tag close to the RFID readers installed at each exhibition hall and watch the video guide.

Tablet PC Free Rental

  • Tablet PC rental is available free of charge. (Total 20 pcs available)
  • Tablet PC rental is available at the information desk on a first come, first served basis
  • Personal ID is required
  • Rental is limited to 2 hours.

Wheelchair and Stroller Availability

Wheelchairs and strollers may be borrowed for infants, senior citizens and people with disability, for free of charge, to be used inside the museum building.

Guided Tour (Reservation required)

The Museum offers free guided tours of the collection led by exhibition curators or volunteers with professional backgrounds. The maximum number of persons for each group is limited to 40.

To schedule your reservation, please visit the Museum's internet reservation system or fill in the request form and send it by fax or email.
